Notes : This is a SOW Description : Works with business and IT partners to identify and implement multiple technical projects of varying sizes, as defined by Company methodology. Examples of projects include broad-based information systems, full life-cycle enterprise application development, and data warehouse planning and development. Manages complex projects of at least $5-7M in size. Works with project team members representing both business and IT to determine best methods to achieve project objectives. Works independently with some guidance and is responsible for applying project management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to ensure delivery of project deliverables, processes, and systems. Supports continuous improvement of project execution and delivery processes. Operates within defined parameters using project management methodology. Able to lead and manage project business and IT stakeholders in a collaborative manner in order to successfully deliver planned scope, with quality, and according to approved timelines. In addition to all responsibilities of a project manager, primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Demonstrate strong leadership with professionalism and respect for team members Provide transparency to issues, risks, internal / external dependencies, and understand when escalation is needed to overcome obstacles Timely identification, documentation, and management of risks to drive mitigation Build trusted sponsor and stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively by adapting style and message for diverse audiences Demonstrate confidence in resolving issues through negotiation with business and IT partners to achieve project goals Demonstrate understanding of Agile framework and iterative development practices and implement methods for tracking deliverables generated within this model Incorporate Agile / SAFe concepts into execution activities as appropriate and as directed by the IT PMO and the Agile Center of Excellence Understand project scope, critical path functionality, and relationship to testing Monitoring and tracking to completion all project development, configuration, and testing activities to ensure readiness for project milestones Ensuring responsible testing leads establish an efficient process for workgroup-level Test plan submission, review, and creation of an integrated project Test Plan Leading project meetings; identifying, documenting and prioritizing scope changes; facilitating approval process; maintaining / updating project documents Identifying process improvement opportunities to increase standardization, repeatability, and enterprise-wide alignment Ensuring stakeholders are held accountable for assignments and escalation is conducted when needed in a timely manner Setting and managing expectations with project team members; providing performance feedback as requested Developing and maintaining work plan structure and project schedule to progress of work Identifying, documenting and prioritizing scope changes and facilitating the approval process; Tracking and managing time and budget against plan; Preparing and participating in quality review checkpoints and conducting project close-out activities. Experience/Competencies/Certifications BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with IT focus degree and 5-7 years of experience in broad-based information systems, full life-cycle application development and/or building enterprise applications and/or data warehouse planning and development or an equivalent combination of edu   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
