The Department of Public Health, Division of Health Professions Licensure seeks a Help Desk Specialist to assist with the eLicensing Health Care Workforce Data collection project. The contractor will: assist licensees who experience Health Care Workforce Data survey problems while renewing on-line; provide “help-desk” type support to both encourage on-line renewal and to support a smooth and accurate renewal process; simulate and troubleshoot user problems; test the licensure renewal system with assessment/survey questions to ensure that the system works for data collection, data output, and ease of use for the individual health professional; contribute to the survey creation/modification processes and conduct testing of the same; work with the IT team at the Division of Health Professions Licensure to contribute programming expertise in order to improve the incorporation of the Health Care Workforce Data assessment questions into the licensure renewal system so that data can be collected on all of the identified disciplines/professions; create and implement a campaign to drive a higher percentage of licensees to renew online; and perform other duties as assigned.
