This position responds to routine and complex store inquiries with primary focus on providing assistance and ba sic trouble-shooting regarding service delivery, different hardware and software installation, outages, hardware/network level problems, and other technical iss ues. This person will also provide live coverage support at all new stores. This position requires in-depth knowledge of each service offering and seasoned Aloh a POS, related hardware and networking experience or other company products. Due to complexity of issues and possible sources of problems, the position requires the technician to understand all business unit functions, products, resources and escalation paths. This position requires efficiently working cases, resolving and owning the problem resolution process including root cause analyst, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction. Analyst is responsible for escalating ap propriate cases to fix problems timely Desired Skills and Experience Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Dual Task: Talk & Type Professionalism, courteous, ability to remain calm under stressful situations Must be able to offer empathy to any situation presented Ability to follow pre-determined escalation protocols as appropriate Ability to follow pre-determined trouble-shooting guidelines Able to ask appropriate open ended questions when no protocols exist for current situation. 2+ years of experience/technical proficiency with POS installation (Aloha/Micros systems training or Aloha support preferred) Computer training/familiarity with GUI environments & standard applications, including familiarity with at least one POS application/operating system (Aloha p referred) Possess open & flexible availability plus weekend on-call availability Ability to provide exceptional customer service to our stores, partners & teams Ability to commute daily to our corporate offices located at 3001 Dallas Parkway building in Frisco, TX Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma and a minimum of 36 months technical support experience in a computer helpdesk, network or software support or call center. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs as well as networking topologies is required. Extraordinary customer service skills required. Hospitality operational and back office experiences a plus. Experience with POS required. Preferred Experience: 3-4 years experience supporting Aloha and/or Micros POS systems in a help desk or technical support environment. A strong knowledge of networking topologies, and/or computer systems or operating systems is a plus in this position. Excellent communication and people skills along with strong organizational and time management skills allow the right candidate to be immediately successful.
