Apex Systems is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst (Hive/Informatica/ETL/Tableau) for our direct client in Danville, PA. The Business Intelligence Analyst (Hive/Informatica/ETL/Tableau) will be responsible for the development and implementation of Tableau Dashboard and report generation, which will be about 30% of the time spent. The other 70% this consultant will work on ETL/Hive (HiveQL, HQL) related task. Summary Develop complex data extracts, applications, and ad-hoc queries as requested by internal and external customers using SQL, HiveQL (HQL), SSIS, Informatica toolset (Powercenter, B2B with MFT) Create, modify and manipulate reports and dashboard with Tableau. Research, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues impacting extract delivery. Work closely with Business Systems Analysts to understand requirements regarding solutions; ensure data quality and match-back to core systems transaction results. Collaborate on the definition, development, and maintenance of standards and processes. Serve as mentoring resource for other developers. Support goals and objectives by working closely with management team to deliver value to the business. JOB REQUIREMENTS 4+ years as an ETL Developer or equivalent implementing technical solutions (extracts, middleware, stored procedures, EDI, ETL packages). 2+ years of HQL (HiveQL) query experience including ability to write optimized HQL queries. Experience with SQL Server, Transact SQL (T-SQL) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Informatica. Expert knowledge of relational database applications and data query protocols (SQL Server, Structured Query Language (SQL). Experience with Performance Tuning and writing optimized SQL/ETL code. Experience writing Shell Scripts for Linux. Demonstrated ability to drive to deadlines, balancing multiple priorities, and ensuring quality standards. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills. Desired experience with encounters or claims, business analysis experience in healthcare, preferably managed care or Medicaid. EDUCATION BS degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience) Required Skills : HiveQL (HQL), Tableau, ETL, SQL, Server Server,Informatica.
