The Test Data Generator would utilize vendor provided services for data generation. The Test Data Generator may require performing other duties, as assigned. 1. Acts as an independent point of contact for test data generation needs for ICD 10 project team and the clients internal groups that seek test data for testing of ICD 10 project 2. Generate large volume of test claims using vendor provided data generator tool/service 3. Obtain/Understand requirements from various internal groups that seek test data 4. Manage communication with internal groups that seek test data 5. Ensure that test data is delivered to internal groups that seek test data in desired format/location 6. Participate in relevant team meetings 7. Provides periodic status updates to the project team and to the reporting QA manager, as needed 8. Obtains/Prepares test data that is needed, as input, to the vendor for large volume of test data generation in desired format 9. Schedules test data generation tasks/jobs, monitors proper execution, resolves blocking issues in timely manner by working with vendor or the clients internal teams 10. Drives blocking technical issues with vendor to closure 11. Escalates unresolved blocking issues to reporting manager in timely manner 12. Manages files transfer/data transfer between the client and vendor 13. Understands that data in use includes the clients production data with Personal Protected Information (PPI) 14. Follows defined procedures to keep data organized for later use or to archive old data 15. Creates and manages user profiles for the clients users to create test data for specific test scenarios as requested 16. Obtain technical understanding test data generation tool and data generation service from vendor 17. Ensures that test claim data files are processed by batch jobs and Facets without any issues 18. Drives issues related to processing of test claims to closures by working with the internal technical team/s 19. Generates dashboard reports using vendor provided tools and post them on desired location/SharePoint site for project team use 20. Performs other duties as assigned Desired skill sets for test data generator 1. Technical knowledge of a. SQL database e.g. ability to write SQL Queries, understanding of database Tables, records etc b. Software applications e.g. web based application usages, dashboard report generation, application workflow, user profiles; batch jobs; log files etc c. FTP, data transfer, data archiving etc d. Microsoft products e.g. MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook/emails, SharePoint site etc 2. Some/basic understanding of healthcare insurance domain - Understanding of claims, types of claims, Members, Providers, EDI/837 files, Sensitive/PPI data etc 3. Excellent communication skills 4. Excellent status reporting skills 5. Excellent problem solving skills 6. Excellent team work abilities 7. Abilities to recognize issues worth escalation 8.
