Description: The UC Office of the President is actively seeking a Senior PeopleSoft Administrator to support this critical project with enterprise-wide impact across all the campuses / medical centers and the Office of the President at all levels. Here you will have the ability to make a difference and have a real influence in how we can best manage and support this large implementation. We are looking for a strong self starter who is passionate about pushing optimization and enhancing performance across large and extremely complex PeopleSoft deployments. You will possess excellent project management skills and the ability to guide a diverse team of highly skilled individuals while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be able to apply expert level skills in all aspects of PeopleSoft administration and serve as a technical leader in implementing and supporting enterprise PeopleSoft deployments. Core responsibilities include developing and implementing enterprise standards, policies, and best practices to manage and support PeopleSoft HCM and their corresponding components (Candidate Gateway, Talent Acquisition and Management, Integration Broker, etc) that support our large end-user population across multiple organizational units with high consequences of success or failure. Key Responsibilities 30% - Manage and develop standards and documentation for best in class PeopleSoft framework in support of UCPath HCM applicationsincluding but not limited to (Peoplesoft HCM,Absent Management, TAM, CG, IB, Talemetry, Single Sign On, etc). - Manages collaboration and works closely with application development teams to test and configure Peoplesoft code. - Install, configure and support the core PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 implementation hosted at OMCS and AWS - Develop, implement and maintain procedures to ensure a reliable and secure production environment. - Work with vendors and UCOP technical staff in resolving problems. 20% - Identify best practice techniques to tune Peoplesoft performance in order to address customer needs and complaints. - Manage and respond to service now requests, incidents and changes. Involves in problem management, log analysis and performance optimization of different hosted applications. - Evaluate various hardware and software solutions to meet business requirements. - Develop procedures for implementation of new hardware and software. - Maximize PeopleSoft Performance by performing system analysis, monitoring and tuning; troubleshooting hardware, software, networks, OS; escalating application problems to vendors, suggesting process improvements and helping in developing Standardizations 25% - Document systems, processes and procedures for OSMG and production control staff. - Transfer information to Computer Operations group for supporting production systems. - Provide on-call production support for critical applications as needed. (UCPath, etc) 15% - Train and mentor development of other PeopleSoft admins in technical tools and techniques in order to maximize their contribution to the team. - Responsible for suggesting, reviewing and justifying new technical tools and techniques and managing our PeopleSoft implementation. 10% - Provide expert troubleshooting for isolating technical problems in PeopleSoft Internet - Architecture (PIA) including Oracle databases, Tuxedo Application Servers on Unix, Pr   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
