The software engineer will report to the BEST Application Hosting supervisor.  2nd Shift and off prime support required on a rotation schedule. The engagement is due to start on or about Jan2, 2017 and go to Jan, 2018. Duration is 1 year with a possible extension. Responsibilities Include: Implementation Installation of software products such as WAS ND, WESB, and WSRR Software deployment, support and maintenance of multiple web and application servers Implementation and configuration of new system interfaces for applications on multiple platforms Experience with Scripting and Automation Testing and troubleshooting web and application server configurations Support Application code deployment Identify, analyze and resolve technical problems Experience with Installation and configuration of  file exchange logic specifically using any Axway Systems Change management processes Documentation Create, modify and maintain application and technology process flow diagrams Create, modify and maintain web and application support procedures Skills/Experience required: IIS 7.5 Managed File Transfer IBM WebSphere Application Server IBM WebSphere Network Deployment IBM WebSphere Portal Server IBM Enterprise Service Bus IBM HTTP Server IBM Certified System Administrator preferred Strong oral and written communication skills Responses: Responses to this Statement of Work must include resume of those persons who will be available for the duration of each service management process. 2-5 yrs exp Full-time professional work experience in Information Technology. Substitutions: Accredited college training may substitute for the required work experience with a maximum substitution of four (4) years. (Fifteen (15) semester hours in Information Technology or a related area is required.) Accredited graduate training in the above area may substitute for the required work experience with a maximum substitution of two (2) years. Successfully completion of an Information Technology Certification program, may substitute for the required work experience with a maximum substitution of two (2) years. (Proof of certification must accompany application.)
