This position will oversee implementation of the US CDC HHLPSS lead registry and changes to the ImmPact2 immunization registry to allow them to work effectively together. Complete Description: The Product Specialist (PS) will implement the US CDC HHLPSS lead registry. As part of this work they will need to be able to write specifications for changes to the State of Maine ImmPact2 immunization registry to act as a front-end for Physician entry of lead test results and then submit HL7 ELRs to HHLPSS acting as a Lab Information Management System. The PS will also need to be familiar with Microsoft technologies on which HHLPSS is based, such as Microsoft Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS, and SSRS with the ability to be hands-on in configuration of the software. They will coordinate with the State of Maine (SOM) hosting teams to ensure that the environments are setup when needed and will work with all parties to facilitate data loading and User Acceptance Testing activities. The Product Specialist requires significant to expert experience and skills in the product supported. The Product Specialist will usually also have significant experience in the operating environment(s) (e.g., Windows Server, etc) on which the product is implemented.
