They work on any number of projects from web to mobile They primarily audit software during the dev process so they look at if the software meets accessibility standards, if not they will make recommendations to get is compliant The projects vary in size & scope They are a highly collaborative team working mostly in smaller teams on each project They want to add a sr resource w/ experience reviewing projects to make sure they meet accessibility requirements This person will be working on web & mobile so they should have experience working on both native & hybrid mobile & web Candidate Profile Sr Accessibility engineer w/ both web & mobile experience 5+ yrs experience w/ accessibility engineering on both a hands-on dev level & on a design level 7+ yrs overall experience Exp auditing existing software to see if it meets accessibility requirements Pref consulting exp juggling multiple projects but accessibility is so niche that internal work in an enterprise environment is fine Highly collaborative & consultative personality No Lone wolf” mentality Well organized Day-today / Responsibilities Review client products to assess if they meet accessibility requirements Code reviews to make suggestions to changes code to better meet accessibility standards Switch between projects & tasks quickly Various testing methods on client products Meetings w/ client developers & team members Required Skills Pref.
