IOS Logistics Developer (Jobs in Rensselaer, NY)   Requirement id 117325 Job title Developer Job location in RENSSELAER, NY Skills required Mobile Applications, IOS, Framework, Logistics Open Date 11-Jun-2021 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 18 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type ---    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Developer: Mobile Applications, IOS, Framework, Logistics Description: Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Work with program team to enhance the mobile app with push notification capability Meet weekly with the program team to push notification framework and software logistics for the mobile app Add introduction screen to NYS Parent Portal mobile app for parents to input their childs age and birthday month Add push notifications setting to NYS Parent Portal mobile app (cross-platform native) Generate push notifications (including pictures & videos) on app based on childs age and the information on the parent portal websites that corresponds with the age selected Develop a Backend or Database of push notification messages based on children aged 0 – 5 years old Edit app push notifications Add (app store code) to NYS Parent Portal mobile app to enable analytics in real-time App / back end / SDK to compile meta data from app users and additional user information (such as other apps on phone, etc.) In building sustainability plan for mobile app push notification maintenance Produce technical document for Council records and user guide for Council staff to maintain back end / edit push notifications Maintain user privacy and NYS security principles when building this capability for the NYS Parent Portal Mobile app Mandatory Qualifications: Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software. 60 - 84 months -Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education. Preferred Qualifications: 60 Months of Experience with mobile app development 12 Months of Experience working in close collaboration with program staff virtually 12 Months of Experience in working with government organizations 60 Months of Experience in technical writing for non-technical people 12 Months of Experience in designing data bases with mobile app push notifications. 36 months designing backend server development space.
