The LMS must be able to manage all front-office and back-office functions associated with course scheduling, course registration, company and student profiles, calendar management, record retention, and reporting. TrainND Northwest is willing to consider a turnkey or custom solution with the goal being to find a product that will increase operational efficiency. The scope of work will be strongly guided by the requirements listed in Section 3.3 of this document with additional details included in the “LMS Requirements Matrix” attached to this RFP. It is the expectation the new LMS meet all core requirements. It is the expectation that the Offeror submit a plan for how essential requirements will be met to include a timeline along with any additional costs if applicable. The scope of work will include: • Discovery period to understand current state and desired future state • Detailed project plan for meeting deliverables that must include a timeline to build a custom solution if applicable • Risk management plan • Implementation plan and timeline • Transition plan and timeline • Maintenance plan TrainND Northwest is a very diverse and dynamic environment. In addition to meeting current needs, the option to customize in the future is imperative. TrainND Northwest expects a robust service plan to accompany the LMS software, to include access to representatives for troubleshooting. 3.2 APPLICABLE DIRECTIVES: The contractor is responsible for identifying and complying with all state and federal requirements that apply to the contract. 3.3 REQUIREMENTS – INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION A.
