IT Experience Project Management Administrator (Jobs in LONG ISLAND CITY, NY)   Requirement id 7759 Job title Administrator Job location in Long Island City, NY Skills required Domino Administration, IT Experience, Insurance Experience, Project Management Open Date 21-Dec-2011 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 12 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type ---    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Administrator: Domino Administration, IT Experience, Insurance Experience, Project Management [Note : Start Date : 01-03-2012 End Date : 01-03-2013] Description : Roles : * Engineer with extensive experience with * Lotus Notes/Domino application development and good background in Domino administration * Primary skill set to include coding in * Domino Designer using Lotuscript and @Formula language * Ability to make code enhancements to existing Domino applications * Provide third level application development support * Sametime architecture experience a plus * Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company database * Implements database designs Control database access * Resolves database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues * Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs * Formulates and defines system scope and objective based on user needs and thorough understanding of business processes. * Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs * Works with internal business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve business results. * Provides technical guidance concerning business implications of application development projects. * Gathers and analyzes information and provides recommendations to address and resolve business issues for a specific business group. * Participates in the design and development of new applications to support business needs. * Participates in the development of the creative solutions throughout the course of design, development and implementation. * Leads the functional and content design of new applications. * Contributes to defining time tables and project plans; analyzes and estimates feasibility, cost, time. * Ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved. * Coordinates with business and application development team to achieve project goals and maintain quality and direction until completion. * Management and coordination of offshore resources to meet expectations and deadlines * Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals * Performs a variety of complicated tasks * May lead and direct the work of others * May report directly to a project lead or manager * A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected Required Skills : * 4 year College degree or equivalent work experience as Domino Admin * Experience working as a BSA equivalent or relevant work experience in IT, Insurance, Banking or Investments industries. * Project management experience required * Experience with developing and interpreting metrics required Desired Skills : * Experience with Lotus Notes or SharePoint a plus * Offshore management experience a plus * Experience with Lotus Notes migrations a plus * Financial management experience a plus   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
