The candidate should have strong background or educational knowledge with Big Data Hadoop, RDBMS, SQL and Unix. Responsibilities: Lead the data platforms team to deliver an enterprise data warehouse, data lake, data marts and other analytics environments to support enterprise-wide data consumption. Lead the delivery of an enterprise data pipeline to improve access to real/near-real-time data across the enterprise. Lead the data insights team to provide reporting and business intelligence/analytics functions to the enterprise, and ensure optimal user experience in obtaining and analyzing data. Build data science expertise within the data and insights teams, enabling discover of new business opportunities, efficiencies and value. Engineer and integrate commercial data virtualization solution with Hadoop and RDBMS platforms Integrate client-supported Big Data solutions with the platforms for data ingestion, data lifecycle management, across platform data access and analytics. Integrate data management with Vendor and company metadata management solutions. Actively engage with businesses sectors and operation team to provide engineering support and architecture design for application POC and use case deployments. Work with cross domain teams to develop standard platforms Provide SME and Level-3 technical support for troubleshooting. Qualifications Qualifications: 10+ years overall IT experience. 2+ years of experience in a work or internship environment with Hadoop ecosystem: HDFS, MapReduce, Spark, Sqoop, Hive, Flume, Impala, and Solr. Strong Cloudera knowledge 2+ years of experience with Red Hat Linux, UNIX Scripting, SQL, RDBMS, and ETL solutions. Good interpersonal with excellent communication skills - written and spoken English. Able to interact with client projects in cross-functional teams. Good team player interested in sharing knowledge and cross-training other team members and shows interest in learning new technologies and products. Ability to create documents of high quality. Ability to work in a structured environment and follow procedures, processes and policies. Self-starter who works with minimal supervision.
