Description: Specialist Appl Support Analyst->> Maintains and supports applications and their operating environments. Provides technical and/or business guidance to the SCM team as well as other groups. May allocate/coordinate work within a team/project. Analyzes system requirements. May review SCM plans and SCM scripts/programs.Monitors changes to applications and their operating environment. Analyzes any complex issues. Provides application support input with regard to SCM activities. May interact directly with clients regarding project activities. Recommends technical solutions on application problems. Reviews and analyzes product migrations through all systems environments. Reviews and develops updates of contingency documentation and processes. Contributes to the achievement of related teams objectives Shared Services Applications Act as an SME for all incidents, problems and changes related to the applications Prioritize issues coming in directly or from L1 support Verify that incident tickets are prioritized and routed correctly by L1 support team Lead investigations and resolutions for incidents and engage the required groups including Infrastructure Support and Application Development teams (as needed) Interact with application support vendors for assistance as needed Track the incident throughout the lifecycle and ensure it is closed on completion Coordinate with the Senior Incident Officer/ Production Services Application Lead to provide information needed for updates Participate in root cause analysis to identify problems underlying the incidents and rectify to prevent recurrence Identify if a change record is required to resolve an issue and follow standard procedure to open the changes Participate in CABs as needed to follow-through any changes opened for issue resolution Support completion of the PTO checklist as needed Apply application patches and fixes Proactively identify and manage continuity, security and resiliency risks that impact the business Perform business impact assessments in coordination with Production Service Leads Ensure that all service requests are addressed and resolved within SLAs Identify new opportunities to streamline and improve recovery solutions Identify repeatable manual tasks and lead efforts to automate Support regulatory compliance or audit support activities as needed Provide knowledge and training to new support personnel Maintain service uptime & SLA as committed (MTTR reduction) Support Greenfield implementation and provide EOL support Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or other Information Technology disciplines Has 5-10 years of experience in IT Support, Incident, Problem, Risk, Capacity, Knowledge, Service Continuity, Resiliency, Event and Change Management Has experience supporting 100-200 applications for the business Has 5 years of experience managing UNIX/Linux/Aix environment Has 5 years of experience in UNIX shell, Perl, Python, Ruby or other scripting languages such as Java Script Ability to learn new applications and infrastructure and understand the business architecture touchpoints Has experience of working with complex data sets, create queries to retrieve records, aggregate records and make factual conclusions Has experience with requirements gathering, developing business plans and project plans Has experience in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Management - Foundations a   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
