The Enterprise Architect applies their unique expertise and skills to contribute to the development of IT strategy in their area of specialty and in partnership with company Leadership. The Enterprise Architect will work in a focus area of IT which may include: Information, Security, Infrastructure, or Application. What they will do Trusted advisor to senior IT leadership. Provide informed advice and support to senior IT leadership on overall technology capabilities to enable business and customers. Lead Information architecture initiatives to mature Information architecture across the enterprise. Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed. Contribute to and influence Overall Business and IT Strategy and Roadmaps. Work cross-functionally to understand the lineage between Business goals, Business Strategy, IT Strategy, Architecture (Business, Information, Application, Technology and Security) - and strive to further business goals via evolution of architectures, IT practices and patterns, and current state to future state. Ensure that project management or solution delivery life cycle efforts leverage all aspects of enterprise architecture (EA) - separately by EA viewpoint (for example, business, information and technology) and via guidance at the security architecture level across those viewpoints. Analyze enterprise business context (trends and business strategy) and requirements and other EA viewpoints to lead collaboration in solution development and to guide solutions for the decisions for the enterprise. Assist with governance activities associated with ensuring overall Enterprise Architecture, Information architecture standards and EA compliance. Understand and advocate business and IT strategies using architecture patterns and practices. Champion architecture best practices with technology teams through development of reusable tools, formal and informal communication and educational activities. Responsible for building effective working relationships, making sound decisions, and successfully managing changes. Serve as a subject matter expert or education point of contact across multiple domains to guide technology and strategy decisions; and communicate enterprise-wide issues to team and decision makers. Compile, deliver, and evangelize end-to-end technology and roadmaps, models, including solution patterns, to drive the evolution of security, infrastructure, processes, products, and services for the entire enterprise. Infrastructure Specific Responsibilities Define key solution portfolios, reference architecture and best practices by applying depth and breadth of expertise in multiple related disciplines including at times leading activities directly or by establishing and then supporting portfolio management disciplines. Security Specific Responsibilities: Define key security solution portfolios, reference architecture, and best practices by applying depth and breadth of expertise in multiple related disciplines and ensure they are managed - either by heading that activity directly or by establishing and then supporting portfolio management disciplines.
