It is also expected that some of the work will be performed offsite at the project managers location. The PM will manage the activities associated with developing a plan/roadmap for replacing the remaining legacy systems. The work shall include: • Managing information systems projects consistent with the Washington State Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) policies and guidelines • Defining project work to an appropriate level of detail • Identifying project risks and ways to mitigate these risks • Estimating complex IT project resource needs and costs • Developing detailed IT project work plans and planning activities • Defining team roles and responsibilities • Communicating with and facilitating decision-making among stakeholders • Communicating and coordinating with agency management on project • Providing expert advice and counsel • Collaborating with DRS to conduct RFPs for systems design, development and implementation • Managing project budgets and schedules • Developing plans for analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, quality assurance, and systems acceptance • Managing/leading multi-disciplined project teams and resources • Guiding and providing mentoring for IT project leaders and staff • Observing and assisting in group sessions • Managing external consultants and contractors • Assigning and monitoring task completion • Facilitating conflict resolution • Project status reporting and executive sponsor briefing   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
