By hiring the best people and helping them grow both professionally and personally, we ensure a bright future for NTT DATA and for the people who work here. “Packaging and Labelling Engineer” to join our team @ Buffalo, NY • Design and maintain Loftware Labels interfaced to Oracle ERP • Initiate and drive new labels and Instructions for Use designs in support of product initiatives, label design, content and artwork. • Provide support to labeling projects in support of new product development and current production. • Develops or directs development of sketches, specifications, samples, and written analyses of proposed labeling in order to present design for changes and or approval. • Plans and directs activities concerned with design and development of labels and Instructions for Use (IFUs). • Analyzes engineering drawings and specifications of product to determine physical characteristics of item, special-handling and safety requirements, and type of materials required for labeling. • Prepare and support the execution of Labeling Validation Plans and Reports. • Ensure labeling is in compliance with regulatory, customer and specification requirements and standards. • Support the validation of labeling equipment to include IQ, OQ and PQ. • Support Value Stream manufacturing teams for labeling projects. • Provide technical support for label printing and database management. Experience, Skills and Abilities: • 3+ years of experience in 2D/3D label design, Illustration and graphic/product design • Strong sense of design, typography and color plus demonstrated expertise in label design • Strong level of creativity, conceptualization, execution, organization and design skills • Drawing and computer illustration skills • Ability to work in a highly collaborate design environment • Solid communication and presentation skills • Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize your workload • Knowledge of Loftware is a plus • Basic understanding of Oracle ERP is a plus Education: • Bachelor degree in Design or equivalent experience   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
