Description :

The Project Manager 4 position will provide options, definition, and interactions models for complex, end-to-end business system solutions. This position will also include Business System Architectural type responsibilities. These solutions are tightly coupled manual, human-facilitated, automation supported, and fully automated solutions; they are not specific to any given product or process. The position interprets business requirements to establish the business solution frameworks to which a technical design conforms. The position supports and works closely with business leaders and Subject Matter Experts during product ideation and scoping activities before business requirements are final. The position will work within the Family & Community Services (FACS) Division and will ensure that technical solutions to business problems are both well aligned to the specific business needs identified and consistent with the business and technology objectives. Within the software development and implementation process, the position insures end-to-end integration with the project as well as continuity with the roles and functions of the Division of FACS and Information Technology Services Division (ITSD) as well as DHW Enterprise compatibility. The position will work closely with Business Analysts, Functional Analysts, Process Engineers, as well as field staff and business designers to make “solution” recommendations.

1. Conceptualize solutions in product ideation and conduct proofs of concept to ensure solutions viability.
2. Define architectures for business capabilities at a high level, to ensure that the design of future implementations meet business goals and are consistent with the organizations target state architecture.
3. Translate business requirements into organizational, process, automation, and technical reality.
4. Use cross functional expertise to understand and align multiple end-to-end business processes, business rules, and IT platforms to create business solutions with technical components that increase organizational effectiveness and contribute to the realization of strategic goals.
5. Drive alignment and integration of solutions across FACS business processes and systems while supporting strategic business efforts.
6. Define common and reusable capabilities that may be shared beyond the FACS Division and enable maintenance, extension, and re-use using standards frameworks, (e.g. SOA).
7. Identify and suggest strategies that fit Enterprise level products, tools, and functions.
8. This position will be directed by leadership in the Departments Strategic Business Unit (SBU) and will interact with and work cooperatively with business and technical teams to evaluate, model, implement, and maintain the business systems and functions.

1. Modeling: Creates complex business models with process and technical components with hands on experience creating high-level models that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business systems architecture
2. Communication: Communicate the business and technology frameworks and systems in alignment with strategic plans and directions; create reports summarizing Proof of Concepts, design risks, and timely issue identification.
3. Multi-system integration: Accurate development and integration of business process and automated systems to support FACS end-to-end business functions; specifically, the interconnections and “white space” between linked processes and automated steps.
