The business team is still evolving focused primarily on pharmacy operations and outlining how the new pharmacy will conduct business. There is a need for a strong agile capability/product manager that can define the required capabilities/features and user stories required to build out the business. The candidate we are looking for must have a strong agile background with experience working with a diverse set of business leaders. Working as the business proxy, this candidate will drive the work of the delivery teams through backlog creation and prioritization. This candidate should have the ability to assist the business in driving the delivery teams based on value. All work should come back to a specific value stream that can be measured upon implementation. Health care experience in pharmacy is desired however we can be open minded if the candidate is strong in agile, communication and has a proven record of delivery. Ultimately this position will report up through the business operations team but for the time being technology will support this position. The candidate will meet with each key business leader to ensure there is a strong connection and the ability to work with this diverse team. Here are the details: Position: Sr. Technical Product Manager Location: Basking Ridge, NJ Duration: Contract to hire Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Interact with business, working as their proxy establish the features and stories required for building out the pharmacy business (Rare disease) Demonstrated experience defining business and system requirements for software related products and services. Experienced at leading analysts in the process of understanding and documenting the users need. Identifying needed capabilities to resolve the products need. Working with technical and operational resources to create a Roadmap for what capabilities should be delivered and when they should be delivered. Lead analysts through the process of creating requirements for a development team to implement within an agile environment. Manage and groom a backlog of requirements for a product. Evaluate requirements and test results as the projects mature through the SDLC. Assess the products effectiveness post implementation. Must Haves: Requirements gathering Agile understanding ability to create features and user stories Communication /writing skills Nice to Haves: Pharmacy background; specifically Rare or Specialty is ideal Experienced creating Roadmaps and Requirements in Aha! and / or Rally.
