Job Description Administrator: Cognos Framework Manager, Implementation, Cognos, Troubleshooting Application Server TOMCA

Senior Cognos Framework Manager Administrator

Experis Las Vegas is hiring for a Senior Cognos Framework Manager (FM) Administrator. This is a contract role to help with continuity in delivering Cognos solutions to the business. You will define and architect the best practices of Cognos infrastructure, design, develop support plans and provide support for Cognos applications. This role will work closely with the business, architecture group and solution teams. The operation is 24x7.

About our client: Our client is an industry leader in the Las Vegas market. The BI team is small and effective and continues to deliver great solutions to the business as the data warehouse evolves and expands.

The following is what we are looking for:

REQUIRED:
-5 or more years of hands-on experience with Cognos Framework Manager V8.4.1 or higher is requirement
-experience with implementing row level security is required
-Experience: 5+ Years Extensive Experience with Cognos 8-10 versions
-Experience with Troubleshooting and Optimization of Cognos 8-10
-Experience setting up environment in single & Multi-tier environments
-Experience with Application Servers such as Tomcat required

PREFERRED:
-Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent experience
-hands-on experience using and implementing Dynamic Query Mode
-Experience in Installation/Upgrade/Configuration/Tuning of Cognos Suite of Products 8-10
-Understanding of proper industry change management procedures required
-Understanding of networking infrastructure including as it applies to the application layer
