The Water Quality Bureau has multiple has multiple water quality data application/systems that are relied upon for core business needs for the management of water quality, aquatic plant management, aquatic invasive species, water assessment and surface water data. These systems are also used to manage regulatory compliance and EPA reporting. These systems provide internal and external (i.e., public, partners, etc.) access to annual reports, monitoring data, surface water information, etcetera. The developer needs to provide reliable, responsive support and updates to these systems. This position requires a candidate with advanced developer skillsets and experience. Job Requirements: • Experience developing applications with .NET framework utilizing C#, .Net, JavaScript and Bootstrap • Experience applying Object Oriented Design • Security Model experience including authentication and authorization in custom .NET applications • Web API / REST Web Services • Experience with developing reports • Experience working in Visual Studio as well as Azure DevOps • Experience with coding standards and best practices. • Experience utilizing the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and following IT Best Practices • Experience using Oracle, including coding stored procedures, PL/SQL and SQL • Experience following Waterfall or Iterative/Agile/Scrum Methodologies for completing projects from Initiation through Implementation and Maintenance • Experience troubleshooting errors • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work in a team setting and collaborate with others   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
