HIX OPERATIONS ANALYST The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services is currently seeking an exceptional individual to join the Health Insurance Exchange team as Operations Analyst. This Operations Analyst is a key member of the operations team providing analytical solutions and presents recommendations to enhance operations processes and meet strategic objectives. DETAILED STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop project plan/timeline estimation and identify key milestones for the Operations team • Monitor, track and complete project tasks, ensuring outputs are timely, high quality, and tailored to stakeholder needs • Provide support associated with tracking, validation, and driving closure of PROD Batch Schedule exclusions, workarounds, defects, and data corrections • Develop strategy and root cause analysis for Issue Response Plans (IRP) assigned to Operations Risks & Issues. • Maintain structure for documentation library repository • Track efforts associated with ad hoc projects with vendors, such as maintenance of Data Related Process (Data migration, correction, exclusion and workarounds • Support data updates and delivery of regularly scheduled reports • Manage and distribute Operations calendar of activities. • Design presentations at high-levels, incorporate advanced features of PowerPoint, Excel, etc. • Other responsibilities / tasks as assigned. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Knowledge of and experience with healthcare eligibility systems • Develop and implement “best practice” methodologies for Operations • Excellent communication experience with technical and non-technical staff • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with management, end users and program team members • Must be a self-starter, have a broad technical background, possess both critical-thinking and analytical skills and must be able to manage and prioritize many tasks at any given time • Minimum (3-5) years of analytical experience, preferably within operations • Proficiency with MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Visio a plus Education: • Bachelors Degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field, or equivalent work experience. • Prior state or federal government experience is a plus.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
