Job Description : Position: MDM Lead Location: Boston, MA (can sit fully remote) Duration: 1+ year Position Description: Our Client is looking for a Master Data Management Lead to join their team on a long term contract. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business leaders to understand demand and propose Veeva Solutions. The Veeva COE Lead is the main point of contact with business stakeholders for Veeva applications- CRM, Align, Network, and Open Data. They must be able to manage support of the Veeva application through managed support and stakeholder relationships, as well as Veeva CRM Engineers in the team. Responsibilities: 60% Master Data Management This person is responsible for MDM data quality, processes and business rules. They will be responsible for working with the various business area leads to ensure cross-team processes are efficient and master data is consistent, accurate and compliant across applications. Perform and delegate ad hoc customer and product master data requests Lead and participate in MDM UAT testing Operational Excellence Responsible for defining and maintaining MDM Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of customer and product master data Responsible for customer data harmonization across multiple sources Maintain MDM business glossary and business requirements Coordinate and define business user impacts of MDM application changes including resolving issues Assist in the definition of master data sourcing and services strategies including the evaluation of third party data providers and services Utilize the prior experience in managing or supporting Master Data Management solutions is essential. Knowledge around Veeva Network, Reltio, or Informatica MDM is essential 40% Veeva Application Management Review and analyze existing Veeva applications effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these applications. Serve as liaison for process, data, and application integration related decisions. Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of application-usage best practices. Evaluate proposals and Statements of Work to identify potential problem areas and make the appropriate recommendations. Manage day-to-day and scheduled Veeva application support; respond to application support issues from multiple business customers. Work with managed support teams to work issues to resolution with a high level of quality and stakeholder satisfaction. Manage backlog of maintenance and enhancement requests. Collaboratively groom and prioritize backlog with key business stakeholders. Lead team to ensure that the deployed applications are well documented in regards to process models, application configuration, and integration to facilitate road mapping and support. Conduct training and documentation for end users, hold clinics as necessary, and other user-related activities. Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated plans for Veeva software administration and appropriate use. Skills 8+ years of implementing and supporting Commercial applications in life sciences companies.
