Job Description: • Review programming requirements and provide analysis and development of specifications • Develop and review detailed system designs with project team • Develop and coordinate technical implementation plan • Desk-check and unit test program code, assist with system testing • Develop program logic • Perform code reviews • Prepare and update all necessary documentation • Perform implementation activities • Provide production support, including on-call rotation and technical assistance • Review schedules, objectives and priorities with service manager • Initiate suggestions for improvement to systems and procedures • Assist with routine work of the department as required: • Review programming requirements and provide analysis and development of specifications • Develop and review detailed system designs with project team • Develop and coordinate technical implementation plan • Desk-check and unit test program code, assist with system testing • Develop program logic • Perform code reviews • Prepare and update all necessary documentation • Perform implementation activities • Provide production support, including on-call rotation and technical assistance • Review schedules, objectives and priorities with service manager • Initiate suggestions for improvement to systems and procedures • Assist with routine work of the department as required Requirements: • 3 – 7 years as a software developer programming in a complex distributed environment • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related discipline; • Experience in programming C#, Java, and XML/XSLT • Knowledge of the software development life cycle • Experience with ASP.net, VBScript, JavaScript, AngularJS. HTML/CSS, IIS and JBoss • Experience with SQL Server • Ability to provide application support • Effectively troubleshoot, debug and solve complex issues • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the proven ability to multi-task • Dynamic, professional, team-oriented, self-motivated individual • Knowledge of file handling and manipulation tools and techniques • Strong analytical and organizational skills • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications • Self-starter and able to perform job with moderate supervision • Ability to work in a team environment and to complete work independently Additional Skills • Experience with ACORD XML and AL3 standards • Experience interfacing with Agency Vendor Systems (i.e. Vertafore, Applied, etc.)   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
