We are looking for creative, brilliant, passionate, enthusiastic and experienced Atlassian JIRA and Confluence Systems Administrator to join the team to design and deliver platform with a sharp customer focus. Service oriented thinking along with excellent diagnostic and communication skills and a passion to resolve customer problems is a must have for this role. Purpose: Administer and maintain multiple JIRA and Confluence instances for several business groups Major Responsibilities: • Develop JIRA workflows, dashboards, metrics, reports and advanced filters to provide end-users and business leadership with meaningful operational/performance metrics and status reports. • Determine ways to optimize and improve JIRA setup • Provide written and live training, and support for JIRA to development and project teams as needed • Apply built-in customization and third-party add-ons to extend JIRA functionality as needed. • Develop custom scripts for advanced workflow integration • Use REST APIs to integrate with other applications/tools • Administer Confluence, creating and supporting spaces, blueprints, templates, users/groups, and add-ons. • Define and execute JIRA and Confluence upgrade procedures. Knowledge and skills needed: • Must have expert-level knowledge in installing, integrating and managing Atlassian tools (specifically JIRA and Confluence) • Managed large enterprise scale instances of JIRA/Confluence • Experience integrating tools within the CI/CD pipeline (GitHub, Jenkins, JIRA, etc …) • Experience integrating JIRA with portfolio management (CA PPM, JIRA Portfolio, etc …) • Experience integrating JIRA with test management capabilities (HP QC, QTest, etc …) • User and license management of Atlassian tools • Basic scripting (any language) and Java development experience • Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills • Proficiency in managing and developing SQL queries • Proficiency in Linux Desired Skills: • 3+ years of experience in the administration, configuration and support of Atlassian tools which may include some or all of the following: JIRA, Confluence, add-ons, JIRA Reporting and Report Filters, JIRA Projects Role, Access and administration, JIRA REST APIs. • 2+ years experience in scripting (any language) or java development • SAFe knowledge/experience Contract expires end of December for current CE Would like to start Jan 1 Need them onsite Version of Jira just upgraded to 8.50 a few weeks ago   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
