Provides automated testing of user requirements of complex software applications supporting identity and access management solutions. Design and implement test scripts/functions using automation tools / frameworks. Work on automation framework modification/maintenance and integrating new features. Develops test cases, test plans, test and defect report, and other documentation as required. Creation and maintenance of unit, component and automated testing that is integrated into and reported from the build cycle. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including architecture, design, implementation and documentation, ensuring support of automated test and alignment to strategic goals. Start Time: 12:00 AM Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm Location: CHICAGO IL 60601 Medium Education: Additional Job Details: Qualifications Bachelors degree plus 5+ years experience with both structured and exploratory testing methodologies or software development java scripting / development experience. Solid experience designing, developing, and deploying automated tests to ensure quality standards are met. Extensive background in developing automated test suites. Experience writing automated test scripts in Cucumber in Ruby and experience in the following tools: Selenium, Chef, Jenkins Good understand of authentication and access control methods, protocols, and solutions desirable. Experience testing ForgeRock products is highly desirable. Good understanding of agile and scrum development principles. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Researches, recommends and establishes best practices in manual and automated testing to encourage well-documented and reproducible testing results. Proven track record with variety of standard or nonstandard test automated tools and solutions. Work with Application Engineers to resolve defects. Understands agile methodologies (Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Continuous Deployment Assist with creation of testing automation software/scripts to improve performance and efficiency. Create Design document and test automation implementation plan. Interact with stakeholders and engineers to drive projects to on-time, quality releases. A drive to understand, test, and debug complex applications. Can trace through and debug defects. Values clean, elegant, and modular code and refactorings while meeting deadlines and commitments. Familiar automated test tools such as SVN, Tortoise, Selenium Webdriver, TestComplete, SOAP UI, J-Unit/ N-Unit/ Test NG. Enjoy using multiple tools and languages: e.g. Java, Groovy, Java-script.
