Description: Application Systems Analyst Locations: Omaha, NE and Phoenix, AZ BASIC FUNCTIONS The Application Systems Analyst develops application and business integration solutions. Uses a variety of platforms and technologies to provide business solutions to customers. Responsible for more advanced application setup, enhancements, testing and maintenance of systems. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Responsible for the development, maintenance and integration of applications and systems that support the business and IT operations. Has a minimum of 3 years of experience working with vendors and internal teams supporting applications in a Systems Analyst role or equivalent job position. Responsible for utilizing various methods in the research, design, development and execution of internal and vendor applications Evaluates potential impact of application changes and communicates these to the appropriate audience. Documents new applications and changes to existing applications. Analyzes, modifies, tests, supports and maintains software in an assigned set of environments Responsible for understanding the business, business objectives and current challenges within the supported business area. Responsible for troubleshooting application issues and working with the team to resolve and make changes in a timely manner. Has very good customer service skills and track record in working on prior projects and working with the business teams Has developed additional skills in support of the applications. (Fiserv Signature, query, Mortgage, Lending and other related tools) Responsible for complying with all Company Information Services policies and standards. Responsible for ensuring appropriate security and privacy measures are implemented on technology solutions to protect Company data from intentional or accidental misuse. Pursues Operational Excellence in all endeavors, striving on a routine basis through identification and implementation of continuous process improvements. Complies with all related Federal, State and Industry laws and regulations pertaining to Banking. Coordinate or perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Position requires up to 10% travel MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS 3 years system experience or equivalent work experience in a related area Strong communication and problem solving skills Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes in assignments Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and business requirements Awareness and experience with different technologies related to banking and application support (Fiserv Signature and related applications, Mortgage and Commercial Lending, Consumer and Commercial Online Banking) Bachelors Degree in related system and/or business related field of study (or equivalent work experience) Ability to support multiple applications Ability to work independently and on a team Must be available for weekends and after hours to be on call ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of the Companys business functions and Financial Services business processes. Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Effective presentation, verbal and written communications skills. Strong analytical skills and sound decision-making abilities. Strong customer relations skills (with all levels of internal and external customers).
