We have a 30-month project with our client in Albany, NY that requires a Business Analyst, Expert The Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between business and technical stakeholders. In addition, using analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to Executives and Project Leadership. Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: The Business Analyst in this role will be a key contributor to the analysis and implementation of an agency wide (COTS) Learning Management System. The individual will be expected to work both independently and in collaboration with other Business Analysts. The responsibilities of this Business Analyst position include: Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions. Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies. (i.e., the discovery of the “As-Is” process and developing the desired “To-Be” solution) Conducting meetings and presentations with stakeholders to learn, share ideas and findings. Afterwards, compiling critical information and producing meaningful reports. Performing requirements analysis and producing the appropriate Business Analysis deliverables including: Business Requirements Documents, System Requirement Specifications, Use Cases/User Stories, Data Flow and Business Process Diagrams, and QA Test Cases. Performing QA and User Acceptance testing; ensuring that developed solutions meet business needs and are implemented correctly based on all documented requirements. Mandatory Qualifications: Analyzes an organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documents its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology with distinct deliverables to a solution. 84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. Preferred Qualifications: 84 months experience eliciting/extracting detailed business requirements from customer/project stakeholders or system artifacts. 84 months experience in obtaining and writing business, user, and functional requirements, use cases, process models, workflows, creating screen mock-ups, report mock-ups, and technical documents. 60 months experience developing/maintaining test plans and detailed test cases, executing those tests, validating test results, and logging/tracking related defects. 24 months experience with automated testing or experience using HP Quality Center. 24 months experience designing user interfaces using tools such as Balsamiq or equivalent.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
