The MMIS (Medicaid Management Information System) Modernization Architecture, Standards and Security project ensures our systems, architecture and security designs are closely aligned to DHS programs, DHS business priorities and CMS requirements. The request is to specifically implement the technical upgrades and consolidating efforts of the Middleware components between MN-ITS and MMIS, restructure and redesign the WTX launcher version 9.0.0.2 based processes to Business Process Manager (BPM) version 8.5.7 and further the BPM 8.5.7 to IBM Integration Bus (IIB) version 10. These upgrades are necessary to ensure interoperability across subsystems, bring software licenses up to current versions so they are back under vendor support, resolve functional issues, update security to limit exposure to risks, move integration / data transformation solutions currently resolved in two models to a single solution space, and free up existing hardware and reduce ongoing vendor maintenance and support expenses. Specific duties are: design and develop WTX/BPM application code integrating business rules and specifications, assist in identification and correction of software defects and inefficiencies, produce and run test scripts, work with testers and subject matter experts to identify issues, set up deployments, upload approved code to repositories SVN and RTC, and lastly produce system documentation and conduct knowledge transfer to MNIT-DHS staff. Sample Tasks • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to produce software designs • Develop Transformation and Integration application code to business rules and specifications • Integrate individual software solutions to higher level systems • Use web-based tools to create and advance applications • Test code to ensure it produces the desirable results and perform debugging when necessary • Perform upgrades to make software and systems more secure and efficient • Collaborate with technical writers to create documentation for user support • Provide knowledge transfer. Minimum Qualifications • Eight (8) years experience in Integration Developer/Programmer role o A Masters degree substitutes for three years of experience, or a Bachelors degree substitutes for two years, or an Associates degree substitutes for one year • Four (4) engagements lasting more than six (6) months in Developer/Programmer role Desired Skills • Proven experience as an Integration TX/BPM (WebSphere Transformation Extender / Business Process Manager) programmer or relevant role. • Ability to develop and perform integration configurations between IBM Transformation Extender and IBM Business Process Management (BPM). • Excellent Integration Translation knowledge with relational databases, SQL (Structured Query Language) and ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) technologies • Redesign/migrate WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX) 8.3, IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) launcher version 9.0.0.2 based process to Business Process Manager (BPM) version 8.5.7 & version 8.6, and further the BPM 8.5.7/8.6 to IBM Integration Bus (IIB) version 10. • Expertise in working with ITX Design Studio, IBM Integration Designer (IID), IBM MQ version 7/8, Oracle 12c Database, Red Hat Linux (RHEL) version 7.0. <   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
