Job Responsibilities • Network Engineering Point of contact for all audit engagements such as PCI, FFIEC, SAS70. • Develop & publish responses regarding audit findings, and track those remediation efforts to their conclusion. • Work with network engineering teams to gather or create documents that can be used for audit response and remediation • Review scans and penetration tests to validate and/or identify false positives and publish findings. • Conduct regular audits against established standards, best practice templates Publish findings and manage remediation to conclusion. • Manage processes and procedures including regular self-reviews, updating as required. • Develop, roll out and publish new audit processes and tools across managed data centers. • Develop and publish a monthly Network Engineering Audit Score Card for leadership. • Identify any tool or skill gaps within the network audit function and work with management to build business cases as needed. Job Requirements Education Required Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience. Experience Required Minimum 3 years experience in IT with some working experience with network design, configuration and implementations. Skills and Knowledge Required • Strong verbal and written communications skills • Ability to achieve results across diverse teamsSignificant experience with Visio and network diagrams • Experience with PCI, FFIEC, SAS70 and related governing bodies, regarding their associated configuration requirements and best practices. • Strong working knowledge of network and IP designs for data centers including Internet and secure zones, redundancy & dynamic routing protocols. • Ability to intepret security scan results and apply context from a network device perspective. • Working knowledge of Cisco IOS for switching, routing and VPN platforms. • Working knowledge of load-balancing technologies. • Strong project leadership and team-leading skills. • Knowledge of network design best practices Working Conditions May require working some weekend work. . Occasional travel (may have to travel to Texas or OH data center but anticipated often) Additional information about working conditions: Additional Responsibilities and Requirements • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) are desired but not required. • Preferred experience - Cisco switches, routers and load balancers.
