Job Description : Acts in the highest level technical role as an individual contributor and/or team lead for the most complex computer applications and/or application initiatives. Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs. Works on the most complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors. Plans, performs, and acts as the escalation point for the most complex platform designs, coding, and testing. Leads most complex multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts. Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process.: 10+ years application development and implementation experience. Senior Developer for Consumer Lending area within the Technology & Operations group (TOG). Work on multiple concurrent projects to enhance an enterprise collections application serving multiple business units. Acts as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs. Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex collections platforms d applications. Provides coding direction to less experienced staff or develops highly complex original code. Acts as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts. Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production. Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides. Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the work of less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan. Required Skills: - 7+ years application development and implementation experience. Experience working in a lead capacity within a large applications environment. Ability to document impact analysis, detailed designs and unit test plans. Excellent analytical, decision-making and troubleshooting skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to work independently or collaboratively. - Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. - Project life cycle knowledge. - Detail oriented. - Extensive experience with n-tier application development. - Minimum 5 years of Java J2EE/JSF development experience. - Preferred Skills: - Experience with Oracle. - Experience with IBM MQ. - Experience with CSS. - Unix/Autosys experience of 3+ years. - Prior experience with collections systems. - Demonstrated knowledge of Home Equity Lines and Loans, Personal Loans, Sub Prime Loans, Credit Cards and Retail Loans, Business Loans and Credit Cards, and Educational Loans. .
