This role is primarily responsible for modeling and configuring the ESB system with information pertaining to the Commonwealths services and testing directly with end customers to ensure proper connectivity and functionality. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to problem solving, an aptitude for picking up new skills and an ability to make sense of technical and business concepts. Information modeling and communications skills are key aspects of this position. Responsibilities • Documentation development • Wiki space maintenance • Research and documentation of findings • Ability to review and understand technical service definition artifacts, including WSDL definitions and XML schemas • Maintenance of the Enterprise Service Definition Model (SDM) including Service Taxonomy • General support for SAI Program deliverables as needed and assigned Qualification: • Demonstrated problem solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • A general understanding of Service Oriented Architecture patterns and development methodologies • 1+ years application development preferred. Experience with Java, J2EE, XML, SOAP, SOA, advanced design patterns, and Web services preferred. • 1+ years data modeling development preferred.
