Experience migrating from desktop Web applications to multiple mobile devices is a plus. This is for our client Fidelity Investments, located in Salt Lake City, Utah. This will be a one year contract with potential extensions. MUST PASS AN EXTENSIVE BACKGROUND CHECK SCOPE OF WORK: The Fidelity Customer Protection Services (FCPS) team builds and supports authentication and identity management applications to facilitate secure access to Fidelitys customer facing systems. They operate through multiple channels including internet, voice, mobile, and trusted partner sites providing both direct and federated authentication services. In addition, they support second factor authentication utilizing various out-of-band, knowledge based, and token verification methods. The FCPS product line works directly the majority of Fidelitys business units including retail brokerage, 401k, and institutional brokerage to provide authentication solutions enabling critical customer transactions. PROMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate in planning, design, development, and implementation for multiple initiatives Develop systems with both traditional Waterfall and Agile development methodologies and principles. As such, you must possess strong inter-personal skills and be comfortable following the best practices of these processes. Develop technical system design documents. Production support of software application EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 5+ years Web UI design experience including the implementation of J2EE enterprise solutions. Demonstrated experience in all of the following: Java, J2EE, Tomcat, Unix, Linux, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, HTTP, JSON, XML, XSLT Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related preferred Experience migrating from desktop web applications to multiple mobile devices. Experience with mobile web applications development. Security systems experience a plus. Understanding of Adaptive UI (also known as Responsive UI) and Progressive Enhancement a plus. Experience with content management software also a plus. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Solid understanding of the enterprise software development process including analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, problem resolution and planning. Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to contribute to design and functional specification documentation. Strong organization and coordination skills.
