Must be able to communicate with and mentor less knowledgeable (but capable), local or remote team members and assist in developing their skills to benefit the wider team. Hands-on development and designing of solutions using Java with a test driven approach. Providing technical documentation. Determining and executing suitable system testing strategy. Planning and coordinating packaging and deployment of applications by appropriate teams. Working within the firms guidelines of the SDLC (Software Development Life-Cycle) and proper documentation and process is followed. Basic Qualifications: 4+ years experience with J2EE design and develop using Java Server stack. 2+ years experience working with object relational mapping tools such as Hibernate 2+ years hands on experience with Spring Framework Spring MVC / JDBC / ORM / Transaction / Caching 2+ years hands on experience with building RESTful services using Spring Controller 2+ years experience with Spring/Hibernate: design and develop J2ee application using these 3+ years experience in database design and develop using SQL Server 2005/2008 4+ years working knowledge of J2EE application servers using Tomcat/Jboss 1+ years working knowledge of Coherence Grid Caching 2+ years experience with JavaScript libraries like JQuery/Ext JS Preferred Qualifications: Front-end web design experience using CSS and HTML. Software Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) - Implemented start-to-deployment solutions. Good understanding of design patterns. JUnit able to follow continuous integration, test driven development approach using JUnit and Cruise Control Ant/Maven able to develop and run build scripts using Ant. Maven would be an advantage.
