Will implement test practices, standards and processes, troubleshoot test issues, record test results, track and prioritize defects, participate in product readiness and release decisions. Will also establish fact based measures of test efficiency, effectiveness and product readiness. Responsible for estimating, coordinating and directing testing for multiple products/projects. Software quality assurance on highly complex and/or multiple projects, including manual test case execution, defect tracking, test plan/test case creation and management, and requirements analysis is required. Additional requirements include testing web-based applications, performance testing, MVS mainframe development environment experience, JCL, TSO, processing batch jobs and working with production development environments. Software development experience as a Client/Server Application Developer or Web Application Developer (J2EE) is preferred but not required. Additional Job Details: Qualifications & Experience: - A university degree from a well-respected academic institution; advanced degrees in Information management, Computer Science, and/or other professional certifications are a plus - Prior experience writing SQL queries and SOA test, XML testing - Experience with automation testing for ETL (Extract Transform and Load) applications - At least five years experience participating in the software development lifecycle leveraging the latest methodologies and industry applicable technologies - Experience testing Informatica or Informatica DVO - Hands on experience in developing test automations and testing cloud-native enterprise applications in public or private cloud applications is a plus - Prior development experience with writing C# a plus - Proven record of delivering technology solutions within agreed upon timeframes Personal Characteristics: - Shows a commitment to high ethical standards and integrity and demonstrates this through action - Self-starter; takes initiative and can work independently - Ability to learn fast new technologies - Substantiated experience on supporting junior staff and helping promote a high performance work environments - Excellent written communication, presentation and facilitation skills - Inquisitive, analytical, a strategic thinker, proactive and solutions-oriented - High-energy, positive, entrepreneurial in spirit while goal-oriented and results-driven - Well-organized and disciplined with high attention to detail - Direct, plain-spoken; conveys a genuine/authentic demeanor Required Skills: - Quick Learner and someone who enjoys learning - Self starter attitude, someone with the can-do attitude - Someone with the ability to deliver - Knowledge of SQL and Informatica testing experience to include the use of DVO.
