Works with clients on small projects in support of new and existing systems by translating client needs into functional requirements and detailed specifications. Evaluates programming alternatives and recommends those that best meet client needs while conforming to standards and processing environments. Prepares detailed specifications for translation into structured application programs, conforming to IT SDLC methodology and standards. Designs the systems test requirements to ensure fail-safe integration of programs into production systems. Organizes and conducts systems integration tests. Performs 2nd level support as required, keeping user informed of resolution. Writes/revises program documentation, application operational procedures and client user guides in accordance with IR standards and client needs, utilizing documentation version control.
