Additional Information/Requirements:

The incumbent in this position will be to analyze, design, develop, integrate, and support various processes and applications across multiple technologies and architectures involving Weblogic and other Web server and Application server technologies, and single sign on authentication system, among others. The incumbent will work under general managerial direction on goals and objectives that have a significant impact on the organization. She or he will be managing future designs into the architecture and building out the processes to realize the full benefits of IT. The person needs to be proactive and needs to be productive with little supervision. She or he will supervise design and implementation of the companys web systems for the future and monitoring technology development. The incumbent will help develop best practices for software development, confirming to the companys Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The incumbent should be able to resolve complex problems and perform in-depth analyses and interpretation of non-routine problems. She or he will be a member of the IT department.

Minimum Qualifications

·Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

·8+ years with proven results in design and implementation is required. Strong understanding of design patterns and J2EE design patterns and UNIX knowledge with a focus on tiered, large-scale systems.

·Experience with frameworks - J2EE, STRUTS, Spring, Hibernate, Log4J, JUnit and Jakarta Common libraries and their respective practices.

·Understand application architecture, system design and proven UML tools. Strong understanding of OO Design concepts and principles

·Manage delivery to both the functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, scalability, availability, reliability and security

·Experience in Resin, JBOSS, Web Logic and other Web server and Application server technologies.

·Strong written and verbal communications skills.

·Be able to work effectively with colleagues, must have strong multi-tasking abilities and be able to work on multiple projects efficiently within time constraints. Interact with Data Architects, Infrastructure engineers to exchange technical information from other technical areas.

·Be able to give technical guidance to developers.

·Demonstrated skills to lead large initiatives.

·Working knowledge of XML in a Java programming environment.

·Demonstrated ability to work closely with customers to complete projects.

·Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.

·Performs in a lead role to deliver robust scalable software architecture for Java applications. Interface across in multiple technical areas to proactively assist in defining the direction of the application architecture.

·Architect software solutions by building consensus and provide technical leadership in all aspects of software development life cycle including requirements analysis, design, end-to-end solution testing and delivery of robust solutions to Business Units.
