Description:
As a ServiceNow Developer, youll be an individual contributor responsible for solutioning and development efforts to support a major service management transformation initiative, using ServiceNow (PaaS). Whether it is developing a service catalog for the enterprise, or reinventing change management for cloud delivery to finding new insightful data to help drive better performance of our core systems, you will be at the center of our tech universe. You will also be responsible for helping with efforts tied to improving our existing service management processes and data quality initiatives. You will be a significant contributor responsible to deliver target state capabilities for our service management ecosystem.

Responsibilities:
* Work with key client stakeholders to define business processes
* Gather functional and technical system requirements
* Design and implement solutions on ServiceNow Platform
* Configure Applications using Service-Now tool used in ITIL Management
* Work on CMDB and Asset management.
* Performed Data migration to import data from other applications and external databases
* Provide demonstrations to clients throughout the entire project life cycle.
* Design and implement complex enterprise integrations with industry standard technologies.
* Provide support and resolution for defects identified after a release
* Analyze ServiceNows tool performance and provide analysis to architecture
* Support data loads, data set imports, automation integration, and exceptions
* Develop scripts (e.g., Business Rule, UI Script, Script Action, AJAX), forms, notifications, and approval workflows across ServiceNow modules and capabilities
* Develop custom ACLs to lock-down permissions and enable contextual security
* where applicable
* Provide CMDB development support effectively managing data imports, data set updates, and transform maps
* Create queries and custom views in ServiceNow
* Building prototypes for new and modified solutions

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree or military experience
* At least 5 years of experience with ServiceNow development
* At least 2 years of hands on experience with J2EE, Java, or JMS
* At least 2 years of experience working in an Agile environment

Preferred Qualifications:
* 2+ years as a Certified ServiceNow application developer
* 2+ years of Asset management, Cost Module functionalities within ServiceNow
* 2+ years of hands on experience with J2EE, Java, or JMS
2+ years of experience on UI development with Ajax, APIs, CSS, XML, HTML, JavaScript, JSON, or Web Services
* 2+ years of experience with SQL, XML, Web Services or SOA
