The candidate should demonstrate excellent requirements comprehension and good communication skills. RESPONSIBILITIES Serves as senior developer on large, complex projects. Participates in architecture, design & development of applications. Interacts with project team members to negotiate timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables Develops, tests, and documents systems in accordance with regulatory requirements, SOPs and engineering standards. Performs other duties as directed. Qualifications REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 5+ years of experience designing and developing J2EE applications. Experience implementing and working with J2EE components and interfaces (e.g., EJB, JMS, JDBC, Servlets, Web Services, XML, JUNIT, etc.) Experience working within Open Source Java Frameworks (e.g., Struts, JSF, SPRING, etc.) Well versed in Object-Oriented Design (OOD) methodologies and patterns. RDBMS expertise in Oracle 10g or later and PL/SQL experience. Experience writing and optimizing PL/SQL queries and stored procedures. Possess excellent listening, verbal, and written communications skills and effective presentation skills Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients Experience with automated unit testing tools preferred Experience with integration with content management systems, search engine & rules engine preferred. Knowledge of the clinical drug development industry, procedures/processes, and regulatory standards is a plus MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelors Degree in computer science or related field with a minimum 5 years relevant work experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
