Is also responsible for bringing an understanding of the enterprise/business system to the team. Complete Description: The manager is interested in seeing only candidates that possess strong Business Analyst within Application Development environments abilities, but also where communication skills are considered to be outstanding. Polish and ability to communicate clearly to non technical members is essential and required. Familiarity with Formal OO Methodologies /Rational Unified Process. Years of Relevant Experience as a Business Analyst: 5 plus years plus experience in the development of business/system user requirements Minimal Education: 4 year college degree Role Description: Ensure that overall application designs remain within project scope. Work with customer business units to understand their business processes. Work with customer business units and clients to identify direction of application. Ensure business requirements are supported by the application. Liaison between customer business units and the technical team. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Analyze, define, and document how the applications will support functional and business requirements. Coordinate these efforts with technical team/product specialists/programmers. Understand supporting/interfacing system applications. Understand prioritizing work based on business needs requests, application builds for work affecting the application. Manage the accomplishment of delivery metrics, Service Level Agreements and other contractual obligations within areas of responsibility. Coordinate and conduct project review meetings with Management, Group Team Lead, and Business Units as required. Monitor and measure maintenance and development process effectiveness. Communicate clearly the program/application goals, and policies and procedures to the technical team, business team, and end users. Must submit writing sample during interview. Exposure to developing and designing J2EE applications is desired. Thorough understanding of UI design and application flow. Experience in using MS/Project. Required to maintain time in the NJ AOC IT contractor timekeeping system. Must submit to a criminal background check and finger printing. Proficient in developing requirement documentation, Use Cases, test case scenarios, and performing functional testing. Develop user and training documentation and manuals. Experience in training users in application functions. Ability to work well within a team and indivdually with minimal supervision. Ability to clearly speak and write in English. Strong interpersonal skills; abilty to work within tight deadlines. Must have a valid drivers licence and access to a vehicle to travel within the state of NJ to obtain user requirements and participate in status /review meetings.
