Job Description Architect: JAXB, JSON, XML, Spring Java J2EE

The Senior Java Developer for consumer lending applications will be responsible for design and development of application systems Designs, programs, and codes software in response to specific business requirements Understands how to optimize joint development efforts through appropriate project design, database use, code creation, and software architecture. Develops design specifications in compliance with IT Architecture Resolves user issues and suggestions.

Strong knowledge of Java/Jee and object oriented analysis and design with proven experience in developing MVC based web applications and systems of medium to high technical complexity. Strong knowledge of HTTP fundamentals (rfc2616 http://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616.html) A working knowledge of RESTful services, JAXB, json, xml, Spring (WS/MVC), and weblogic. Candidates strong with RESTful services (Jersey api in particular) will stand above the rest. The candidate will primarily focus on the build/maintenance of RESTful web services, and also contribute to web application development depending on project needs.

7+ years of experience developing Java/J2EE applications in online consumer Lending / Lending Origination applications environment.
BS / MS or technical institute degree / certificate in Computer Science or the equivalent combination of education, technical designations and work experience
Application development in a J2EE environment, utilizing an Agile/SCRUM methodology
