This includes utilizing in-depth knowledge of java development as well as production and development environments architecture. Major responsibilities include: Provide expertise to support and recommend solutions and best practices for Java web services, Java client/user interface applications, Java Web applications, and Java application architecture to various MiCSES project teams. Provide expertise to support and recommend solutions and best practices for Java application and web server products, such as JBoss. Provide expertise to support and recommend solutions and best practices for Java ORM classes, such as Hibernate and iBatis. Provide expertise to support and recommend solutions and best practices for integrating Java Open Source solutions, such as log4j, axis, commons, CXF, and other Apache libraries. Provide expertise to support and recommend solutions and best practices for integrating and/or developing Java frameworks for application development. Provide expertise to support and recommend solutions and best practices for Spring architecture, SpringBatch, and dependency injection concepts. Create training/sample code that implements all Java technologies and standards as recommended and selected for MiCSES Produce and deliver training on areas of Java expertise as it relates to the installation, configuration and troubleshooting. Provide expertise to support Java application packaging (.jar, .war, .ear, context files, web.xml, application.xml, properties files, etc.). Work with the development team to assist with creating and enforcing Java coding standards, including model-view-controller and/or other common patterns. Work with the development team to assist with application demarcation and class package structure. Work with the development team to assist with Maven, Ant/Ivy, and other automated build and repository concepts. Work with the development team to assist with definition of version control directory structure. We are looking for an Expert Level (Level IV) candidate.
