We anticipate approximately two months worth of work to complete the project, although there may be some flexibility in hours and some part-time efforts after the initial two month period. Contract amount NTE $40,000. The analyst MUST be proficient in use and development of JBoss Operation Network in a Microsoft Windows environment. This work requires a high degree of system specific knowledge and a background in the technologies being incorporated into new architecture. Background This engagement will provide consulting services for the DHS/OHA Office of Information Systems (OIS) OR-Kids System. OR-Kids is the States Child Welfare SACWIS (State Automated Child Welfare Information System) for the State of Oregon. The OR-Kids technical team is in the process of upgrading to new Microsoft 2012R2 servers and as part that effort we are upgrading to current versions of Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) and Red Hat Enterprise Web Server (EWS) and installing a new instance of the JBoss Operations Network (JON). During a previous engagement, Red Hat delivered a Current State Analysis of OR-Kids interfaces and an OR-Kids Interface System Migration Plan that included a high level ESB architecture and a work breakdown structure of task for modifying OR-Kids ESB interfaces to run in Fuse. OR-Kids currently maintains and Technical Account Manager Contract and licenses for all software. Objective The purpose of this proposal is to procure the services of an Analyst who can review, implement and mentor the OR-Kids staff with the implementation of the JBoss Operations Network on the new and existing infrastructure. The Analyst will provide technical direction for infrastructure development and configuration tasks including review of work products for correctness, delegation of implementation task and adherence to the design concepts ensuring a successful migration to the new infrastructure. The Analyst should be proficient in use and development of JBoss Operation Network in a Microsoft Windows environment. This work requires a high degree of system specific knowledge and a background in the technologies being incorporated into new architecture.
