Candidate must have experience upgrading to a new Microsoft 2012R2 servers, upgrading to Red hat JBoss Enterprise Application platform (EAP 6.4.X), Red Hat JBoss Web Server (JBWS 3.3), JBoss ESB (ESB 4.6) and installing a new instance of the JBoss Operations Network (JON 3.3). Background This engagement will provide consulting services for the DHS/OHA Office of Information Systems (OIS) OR-Kids System. OR-Kids is the States Child Welfare SACWIS (State Automated Child Welfare Information System) for the State of Oregon. The OR-Kids technical team is in the process of upgrading to new Microsoft 2012R2 servers and as part that effort we are upgrading to Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP 6.4.X), Red Hat JBoss Web Server (JBWS 3.3), JBoss ESB (ESB 4.6) and installing a new instance of the JBoss Operations Network (JON 3.3). Objective The objective of this requisition is to procure the services of a Network and System Consultant who can work with OR-Kids technical staff to review and finalize the new system infrastructure. The Consultant will provide technical direction for infrastructure architecture and configuration tasks including review of the future state architecture for correctness and adherence to the design concepts ensuring a successful migration to the new infrastructure. The Consultant should be proficient in use and development of JBoss systems in a Microsoft Windows environment. This work requires a high degree of system specific knowledge and a background in the technologies being incorporated into new architecture. This Contract is expected to be an onsite engagement. The first phase of the engagement is a detailed System Assessment of the target system, the second will be a tuning engagement to support the OR-Kids staff as the system is being released.
