Job Description Developer: Java Web Development, JDBC, JSP Experience, JAVA SCRIPT CSS DB2 SQL Informix TOMCAT

**Note: this project can extend up to 5 years.

Description:

Qualified bids must include the vendors "all inclusive" bill rate, the resources resume, a fully completed Vendor Minimum Mandatory
requirements doc. (Template is below in Attachment Section) and a skills assessment screenshot of the resources results in Java
development. (Instructions to complete below in attachment section, as well. )
+ Vendor comments are best applied if the vendor speaks to the resources availability and interest. If you are bidding a non local resource,
Why would your resource be a better fit vs. a resource that is local? "Willing to move to Utah" isnt a sell that the resource would move to
Utah if offered. Why would they want to move to Utah for this Job? In addition to their interest, what would prevent them from startiing with in
2 weeks if offered? When does their contract end? Do they have other offers or interviews to complete before they would accept? Do you
need transfer their sponsorship? Please speak to the resources availability, interests level. (Qualifications are already explained with the skills
assessment, MMR and rate.
+ Requesting vendor bids. Due date for all vendor bids will be on or before June 24th, 2019 before 10:00PM MDT (Utah Time)
+ Position expected to start by August 5th, 2019. (Continent upon the successful completion of on-boarding and criminal background check.
+ This position/Project is budgeted annually. Each year, if budget and work is available, this project can extend up to 5 years before it will need
to be re-posted for vendor bids. Looking for resources that are interested in long term projects, up to 5 years.

This role is responsible for building and maintaining new and existing web-based applications, web sites and other technical solutions to meet the Utah Department of Corrections and the Board of Pardons and Paroles operational and administrative needs. This position requires a high level of expertise and broad experience in Java web application development and architecture, must be able to work on multiple projects at a time, and work well in teams. This position may engage on projects involving interfacing with vendors developing of applications for mobile devices, or cross agency collaborations on sharing information between separate systems and databases.
