Responsibilities

Our client in Columbus Ohio is seeking a Test Automation Developer for a contract role.

Candidates must be local to central Ohio or relocated by day one for consideration.

Top skills required for the Test Automation Developer:

5+ years of Java development experience in a full stack capacity or Degree in Computer Science and 3+ years of either Java or C#(.Net) experience
3+ years of Java Selenium/Webdriver experience
1+ years using Jenkins in an enterprise environment

Test Automation Developer Overview:

As a Test Automation Developer, you will develop automated tests in a Java behavioral testing framework, which will support new development, as well as integrations with legacy application.

Responsibilities:

Build the projects Test Automation Framework (a full-stack application).
Perform full-stack development in Java and C# (.Net) as needed to add new functionality to this framework and existing Test Automation tools.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Understand and implement Quality Assurance best practices.
Be a steward of code quality and standards.
Perform root cause analysis as needed.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Mentor junior-level developers.

Requirements:

Must have one of the following:
5+ years of Java development experience in a full stack capacity
A Degree in Computer Science and 3+ years of either Java or C#(.Net) experience
3+ years of Java Selenium/Webdriver experience
1+ years using Jenkins in an enterprise environment
1+ years with Cucumber
1+ years with JDBC
Experience with Selenium Hub
Experience provisioning assets in Azure, AWS, or similar
A solid understanding of CSS, Javascript, HTML, SQL, APIs, and xpaths.
Experience working as part of an Agile development team in an enterprise environment.
