Proven experience as a senior IT professional. Basic knowledge of insurance and financial services products preferred. Technical Skills: Creating and enhancing Java applications that mesh with our architectural guidelines and best practices. Work will include supporting our plan provisions web applications, and some user interface development. Technical skills critical to this need include Core Java, Spring MVC, JSF, HTML, JavaScript/jQuery, Maven, Java Batch, and RESTful services. Must be able to demonstrate how these skills were applied with previous assignments. Other preferred skills include: Java J2EE, RAD, JMS, HTML 5, Bootstrap, CSS, XSLT, Spring, jUnit, Git, Mybatis/iBatis, Websphere/RA, and SQL. Automation testing experience preferred. This position is for RIS. This person will be helping with enhancements, defect resolution, and day to day operational needs. Responsibilities: Creating Java application designs that mesh with our architectural guidelines and best practices. Working within both AGILE and Waterfall project teams. Providing Java application expertise and representation to management, vendors and internal business partners.
