Job Description Engineer: JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, SOAP

candidates with extensive Rich Internet Application (RIA) experience.

Duration: 3-6 Months
Interview process- phone interview, personal ( can do Skype if need be)

The Challenge:
The Senior Software Engineer will provide technical leadership and will actively contribute to the design, development, integration, test, documentation and support of custom Internet based software applications. This hands-on position requires broad engineering competence and in-depth technical knowledge of Rich Internet Application development, a strong foundational understanding of declarative mark up languages and execution frameworks, as well as demonstrated experience successfully planning, organizing and executing software development projects in a dynamic environment.

The Task:
- Help design and build the framework used to create Rich Internet Applicationns, specifically for connected devices, like Smart TVs and consoles.
- Identify and select new design patterns and methodologies.
- Prepare technical requirements and software design specifications.
- Ability to work closely with contractors and consultants to accomplish objectives.

Required Qualifications:
- Eight+ years experience in building Rich Internet Applications.
- Experience building software applications in HTML4, HTML5, Javascript, JQuery and PHP.
- Detailed knowledge of developing and deploying custom Javascript plugins for both backend and presentation functions using JQuery.

- Detailed knowledge of data-driven technologies such as MySQL, Node.js and CouchDB.
- Detailed working knowledge of messaging, remoting, RPC, DOM, JSON, SOAP and/or AJAX.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing, building and supporting APIs for third party consumption.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field, Masters Degree a plus
