Candidate must be local: Yes Job Description: Position Description: - QA Analyst has experience in testing front and backend solutions, such as (and not limited to) APIs, backend databases, management systems, websites and mobile applications. - He/she is able to test using tools (e.g. web proxies, debug consoles) as well as manual testing * - Partner with Development, Design, and Product teams to understand the testing requirements for new feature development based on statements of work, user stories, user flows, and wireframes * - Develop and execute manual test cases as necessary, while communicating with team members on remaining work and timeline to completion * - Identify, document, and appropriately escalate bugs, issues, and formatting errors when testing; verify defect resolution * - Implement software testing methodologies, models and practices as required, and be able to adapt to development workflows * - Provide updates to QA Lead regarding progress Required Skills * - An eagle eye for detail * - Adaptability and flexibility for changing processes and product requirements * - Clear and concise written communication * - Experience with agile/scrum a plus * - Experience with building automated test suites a plus, but not required Qualifications: - 4+ years of experience delivering test frameworks, test tools, leading the QA projects and initiatives Experience with QA strategies such as mocking, pairwise testing and UI, and API level automation. - 2+ year of software testing experience - Experience collecting Quality Metrics and generating reports - Experience testing web services, as well as responsive web applications - Experience performing functional and non-functional testing - Knowledge of modern automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Protractor, Postman, etc. - Shows creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness - Comfortable communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings - Ability to write, debug and troubleshoot code in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript or C# - Experience working closely with development and business teams to present quality/test data, read business data, negotiate on the scope of test coverage/timing/resources, and to actively pull business requirements out of data/partners and distill them to test/risk strategy. - Experience in agile development methodologies with continuous integration - Understanding of technologies, XML, JSON, JS, CSS, and HTML. Experience in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and/or Lean software development methodologies.
