Technical Skills Skill Years/Level of Experience Mandatory Bachelors Degree + 4 Years of Experience 4+ Previous Experience with Web Development 2+ Preferred Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills (in order of preference) Excellent Time Management Ability to contribute to a high-performing, motivated workgroup by applying interpersonal and collaboration skills to achieve project goals Job Responsibilities Participate in Client Field Office Wait-Time IT meetings and planning activities Familiarize self with field structure and field data that is available. Provide design options and IT Architecture expertise Provide the Client with expertise on mobile applications development and platforms to ensure speed to development and cross-platform compatibility in the design Engage in the Geospatial development activities to ensure that field office data locations address (etc.) are leveraged within the application. Project input into Client Geospatial IT strategy, activities, and future development plans Complete development, prototype, pilot items, as directed. Demonstrate IT mobile application capabilities to stakeholders and end-users, if requested Work with sponsors to accomplish the goals of Office of the Chief Strategic Officer, the Office of Operations, and the Office of Systems to ensure the Wait-time application provides the transparency needed for the general public Provide planning, architecture, design, and development recommendations to the Client Field Office Wait time development team Complete documents, briefings, and other materials as requested by the Client Provide input to IT workplans, timelines, architecture diagrams, etc. Complete Weekly Status Reports (WSRs) Complete Monthly Technical Progress Reports (eTPRs) Key Areas of Demonstrated Knowledge & Expertise: 1. Mobile application development and mobile architecture experience with the ability to develop mobile application prototypes 2. Basic understanding of Geospatial development tools and technologies in order to build data sets based on office location, address, and other geographic indicators for consumption by GIS tools (i.e. support interactive map web/mobile application features) 3. Expertise in handling a variety of formats including XML, JSON, HTML, CSV, and RDF 4. Advanced Web development skills, including content management, file conversion, and version control techniques 5. Understanding of web-services development and delivery to data into a mobile and/or external environment for hosting. 6. Team player mentality and willingness to assist the project team in multiple areas (including those that may be outside of the initial task order requirements) Secondary Areas of Demonstrated Knowledge & Expertise: 1. Tactical and strategic planning and implementation 2. IT Project Management capabilities / IT Architect capabilities 3. Knowledge of IT life cycle development 4.
